EXPERIENTAL AND LOGICAL FUNCTION IN NOMINAL GROUP STRUCTURE OF MALE AND FEMALE UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS’ THESIS TITLES

The objective of this study was to find out the elements experiential and logical function in nominal group structure male female undergraduate student’s thesis title students. This applied qualitative research design. data groups on State University Medan students who have finished last assignment 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 2021, majoring English Education. source taken from official site Digital Repository (digilib.unimed.ac.id). results revealed that based function, there were Deictic, Classifier, Thing Qualifier with no Numerative Epithet, Thing/Head absolutely found every title; Premodifier, Head Postmodifier all titles. result showed difference titles dominated quantity used more various both functions.
